So much for being friends with your ex!
On Friday, Nicki Minaj and her controversial husband Kenneth Petty got into a screaming match with the singer’s ex-boyfriend Meek Mill after running into him at an El Lay area store.

In the high-end store Maxfield, the Going Bad rapper stumbled upon his old flame and her husband. It’s unclear who was there first and what exactly was said that escalated into the fighting, but it got heated regardless.
As seen in a TMZ-obtained clip (watch it HERE), the Philadelphia-born rapper has to be held back by his security and employees of the West Hollywood shop before being escorted out. While it’s not entirely clear what prompted the argument, we can assume the men were fighting over the Barbie Tingz rapper, as she chimed in that her ex isn’t over their split.
Ken can be heard calling the 32-year-old a “p***y” in the vid, and according to sources who spoke with the outlet, he and his wife may have instigated the whole ordeal. Insiders connected to Meek say he was already shopping in the store when the couple came in and approached him.
Once the registered sex offender began to raise his voice and get heated, Nicki’s ex suggested they lower their voices and speak in private, but Mr. & Mrs. Petty were not here for the idea. As one confidant put it, he just wanted to keep things civil after the surprise run-in:
“He’s just happy he’s in a much better place, personally and professionally, than he was back when he and Nicki were dating.”

This isn’t entirely surprising, because there’s clearly a lot of bad blood which has yet to settle here. Over two years after their split, Miz Minaj had no shame in throwing shade at her ex during a January 2019 concert in Australia. Taking creative liberties with her lyrics, she sang:
“Meek still be in my DMs, I be havin’ to duck him / I used to pray for times like this / Face-ass when I f**k him / I mean, I could tell you n***** secrets but I won’t / Cause being a bitter bitch is what I don’t.”
