So we all knew Nicole Kidman was briefly engaged in between her relationships with Tom Cruise and Keith Urban… and now we know to WHO!
In a new interview with The EDIT, the 49-year-old revealed that she was once set to wed… drum roll please… Lenny Kravitz! Whoa!

The actress dated the American Woman singer back in 2003, and told the mag that it wasn’t weird to work with the musician’s daughter Zoe Kravitz for her new HBO miniseries Big Little Lies because it was a “family affair”:
“Well, I knew Zo├â┬½ because I was engaged to her father. It’s all in the family! I love Lenny; he’s a great guy.”
In fact, the former flames have remained friends after all these years, even posing together (with Nicole’s country-singing husband) at the 2013 CMT Music Awards.
Back in 2007, Miz Kidman told Vanity Fair of her then-mysterious engagement:
“It just wasn’t right. I wasn’t ready. We weren’t ready.”
Well, it seems like everything worked out for the best! Who knew!
