Nicole Kidman’s Teen Daughters Have Completely Cut Out Dad Keith Urban Amid Divorce: REPORT

Nicole Kidman’s Teen Daughters Have Completely Cut Out Dad Keith Urban Amid Divorce!

Things are getting messy between Keith Urban and the daughters he shares with Nicole Kidman!

On the heels of the Australian couple’s divorce, we’ve been hearing bits and pieces about how their daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, haven’t been too impressed with their musician father… Whether it be for instigating a separation from their mother after nearly two decades of marriage, or being linked to multiple young singers in the Nashville scene fresh off their divorce. Whatever it may be, the girls are reportedly NOT happy with Keith — and have now drawn a line in the sand. On Tuesday, an insider told the DailyMail.com:

“[The girls] are completely team Nicole and, right now, Keith is the bad guy. He is the cause of every problem in their minds, and it’s harrowing for him. He’s really distraught about it. He loves those girls, but they are so angry at him and they’re blaming him.”

The source added:

“I don’t even think this is Nicole painting a narrative; this is the girls coming to this conclusion on their own.”

On Monday, eagled-eyed claimed to have noticed Sunday Rose even go as far as to UNFOLLOW Keith on Instagram, but as of the time of writing this, The Fighter singer is still listed as someone she follows. So be careful believing that unfollow claim!

The source went on to allege the fracturing of his relationship with the girls has felt like a “gut punch.”

“He’s completely lost. He was texting [his daughters] before and getting one or two-word answers, if he got anything at all. Now nothing.”

When Nicole and Keith finalized their divorce in January, it was ruled that she would have the girls for 306 days of the year, while he only got 59, AKA every other weekend. So they still do have a court obligation to spend time with their father, but he’s being careful to not press too hard. The source revealed:

“For now, he’s just letting it happen and hoping that they can talk it out down the road. It hurts but hopefully at some point they can have the conversations and move forward.”

Keith, who has yet to acknowledge any of the rumors surrounding his love life post-Nicole split, including rumors of romances with Maggie Baugh and Karley Scott Collins, both 26, he reportedly feels “guilt and shame” over how he ended things with the Oscar winner:

“He’s in a lot of pain right now. The worst pain is the type that you inflict on yourself, so he’s got some guilt and shame and hurt. He’s struggling to make sense of it right now.”

The grass is always greener, right… until you realize it’s not.

On their marriage and individual relationships with the girls, another source added:

“Keith and Nicole always had an interesting marriage. They both worked a ton and were gone a lot, especially Keith, so the girls didn’t spend nearly as much time with him. He was always touring. Nicole always juggled a bunch of projects, but she was around them more. There wasn’t a ton of family time together, so it makes total sense that they are closer to their mother through all of this. They were never as close with their dad to begin with.”

Sunday Rose memorably lauded Nicole as her “biggest inspiration in life” last month in her interview with Elle Australia. She notably made no mention of Keith whatsoever, a move that reportedly left him feeling “stumped.”

As for where Nicole currently stands with the teens, she revealed at an event in Philadelphia earlier this month she and the girls are “so close, the three of us, we talk about everything.” And on her evolving dynamic with Keith, she vaguely told Variety last month:

“What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”

But just because Kieth may not share the same sort of relationship with the teens, doesn’t mean he’s bitter. A source told DM:

“Keith has said that Nicole has been great during all of this. But the girls are young, they’re hurt, and they have to choose sides in their minds. So, they have chosen mom. Obviously, Keith is not a perfect man — nobody is. But whatever his issues between him and Nicole are, he still loves his daughters very much. For them to cut him out is really hurtful.”
