Nicollette Sheridan Gets A Retrial, But Has To Wait Until Next Season Fall

Everyone deserves a second chance…to prove that they were illegally fired from their job.
After the last court room dramz between Nicollette Sheridan and ABC’s Desperate Housewives ended in a mistrial, a judge has OK’d a rematch.
Judge Elizabeth Allen White rejected the defense’s motion to dismiss the case all together this morning and instead set a date for the retrial to begin on June 4 September 10, following an objection from Disney’s lawyers to the original spring start date.
We imagine the actress who filed the original complaint is pretty happy since she only needed one more juror on her side to win last time. However, Mz. Sheridan didn’t get everything she wanted. The judge also rejected her request for financial sanctions.
Much like a season finale of Desperate Housewives, the real-life legal dramz has resulted in a cliffhanger and we’ll have to wait an entire summer to find out how it all ends.
Talk about life imitating art!
