Nikki Garcia Fighting For FULL Custody Of Son After Artem Chigvintsev Arrest -- All The Divorce Details

Nikki Garcia Custody Divorce Artem Chigvintsev Details

Nikki Garcia filed for divorce on Wednesday, less than two weeks after her husband Artem Chigvintsev was arrested on charges of felony corporal injury to a spouse. And good for her. It’s a tough choice, but also… in some ways it’s no choice at all.

But what is she asking for? We finally have some details. And the WWE star, who wrestled under the name Nikki Bella as one half of the Bella Twins, is clearly preparing for a fight.

According to TMZ, Nikki cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. She could have put “domestic violence” or even “cruelty” — so as far as we’re concerned she’s doing Artem a favor keeping it simple. The separation date she listed, however, leaves no room for interpretation. She put August 29, the day of the Dancing With The Stars alum’s arrest.

As far as money goes, it doesn’t appear there was a prenup, or at least none mentioned in these docs. Nikki did say neither party should get spousal support. It makes sense, they both came into this with their own TV money.

Now for the most important part: their son Matteo. Nikki wants full legal and physical custody of the 4-year-old. We imagine after the arrest, she’ll have a pretty damn good shot at getting it, too. She is open to visitation rights for Artem, which seems reasonable given the circumstances.

What do YOU think, Perezcious readers? Does all that seem fair to you? More than fair??
