Is North West using a fiery shade of red to shade her father!?
Kim Kardashian West’s daughter was seen on Instagram wearing bright red lipstick for her classic devil Halloween costume on Thursday, mere days after Kanye West confirmed he put a strict ban on her wearing make-up.
As seen in a photo posted by Auntie Kourtney Kardsahian, the 6-year-old was rocking crimson nail polish and a pitchfork as she posed up alongside cousin Penelope Disick — who was dressed up as an angel-devil hybrid creature and, for what it’s worth, also appeared to be wearing a gloss.
The shade of devilish red is inneresting, seeing as Kim recently admitted her husband’s born-again ideology has caused him to put his foot down when it comes to North getting glammed out with cosmetics.

As we reported, the KUWTK star recently told E! News:
“North is trying to get in on the makeup, but she’s being blocked heavily because her dad has stopped all makeup for her until she is a teenager… It’s a big discussion, a big fight in the household right now but it is what’s best.”
Kimmy Kakes went on to reveal she and Kanye “didn’t really want her to wear makeup at a young age,” after the God Is rapper tried dressed their daughter like a precocious pop star for years.
He admitted in an interview on Apple Music’s Beats 1:
“I was literally out there making [North] try to out dress Rihanna… I don’t think North should wear a crop top after I had her wear a slip dress when she was two years old. I think and feel differently now that I am Christian.”
According to Kim, Ye changed the rules last month and restricted Nori’s make-up access, much to the child’s dismay. So, this full-lipped costume could very well be an act of defiance against her beauty product-oppressing father.

Then again, Kanye could have very well made an exception for the Halloween holiday. After all, North and Penelope were dressed up for a morning Halloween parade at their elementary school.
And girl can’t be a devil without a red lip, right!?
