Octo-drama!!
It turns out that Dr. Michael Kamrava, who performed in-vitro treatments on Octo-Mom was never board certified. He revealed that he failed his oral exam was never certified in fertility medicine.
He also went into detail on the treatments he performed on Octo-Mom, including implanting her with almost 60 embryos over nine years.
The Medical Board of California is accusing Dr. Kamrava of “gross negligence” for performing the multiple in-vitro treatments and is seeking to revoke or suspend his license.
Kamrava became tearful during his testimony:
“I’m sorry for what happened. When I look back at it, I wish I had never done it and it will never happen again.”
This whole situation is messy and complicated and terrible! He needs to have his license revoked! Anyone who would lie about being certified and then do grossly irresponsible things with in-vitro fertiliziton should NOT be allowed to be a doctor!
