Stop playing with our hearts, Niall!
As you’ve probably already heard, One Direction‘s temporary hiatus officially went into effect on Sunday night after the boys performed at the X Factor finale.
And while the band left us with a new single in the form of History to hold us over… we can’t help but feel emotional over their goodbye messages.

Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne each took to Twitter to voice their love for their fans, but it was Niall Horan‘s tweet that hit us the hardest:
