One Million Spiders Weave A Golden Silk Cape

Spider silk is not only one of the toughest materials on earth… it’s also gorgeous for making clothing.
Especially if the silk is from the Golden Orb spider.
A golden silk cape was spun by over one million Madagascan Golden Orb spiders.
Its golden color is a byproduct of the Golden Orb spider’s naturally golden web.
The garment will go on display at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum.
