Oprah Reacts To Oscar Snub By Saying She's "Already Won!"

We seriously expected the wrath of an angry goddess when we first learned that Oprah had been denied an Oscar nomination!
Although in response to her Oscar snub, Mizz Winfrey told the world she’s not scarred, but in fact, grateful just to have been a part of something so AH-Mazing as Lee Daniels’ The Butler:

“Don’t be annoyed… I really look at that category and look who is nominated in that category: my friend Julia (Roberts) and June (Squibb), whom I don’t know, but Sally Hawkins and Jennifer (Lawrence) and Lupita (Nyong’o.) I think that’s fantastic. And so I haven’t picked up the acting chops in 15 years. So to be able to be a part of a film that could get that kind of attention, that could earn the kind of audience respect that it has, I’ve been saying all along, ‘I’ve already won. I already won.'”

Oh, Lady O! You are truly wise. We bow down! We are not worthy!!
Uh, sorry we got a little carried away there…
We will try not to be annoyed by the Academy’s oversight, but it is SO hard! Why? Just why?!
All in all, way to take the high road Oprah! However, now’s the time for us to continue sobbing over her omission.
