Megxit has everyone from celebrities to nobodies weighing in.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have done a decent job in the past of tuning out the noise and seemingly only allow a select few into their inner circle, and one of the most notable in the fold is none other than Oprah Winfrey.

On Thursday, Page Six reported that the TV icon had advised the couple on their exit strategy from the royal family. An insider shared:
“Oprah was the first person to talk to Harry and Meghan about breaking free and doing their own thing, building on their own brand. She made them realize it was really possible.”
It was also implied by the outlet that other A-lister friends including Barack and Michelle Obama, George and Amal Clooney, and Serena Williams have given advice to Archie Harrison‘s mum and dad as they enter uncharted territory. While this has not been confirmed by any of the parties, it also wouldn’t be entirely surprising if they were in fact leaning on close friends at this time.
It was also unveiled that the Suits alum’s designer friend Misha Nonoo and her husband Michael Hess (the couple attended their September nuptials) have offered up one of three family homes in the ultra-exclusive gated Malibu Colony — AKA “Billionaire’s Beach” — though it is unclear where they will be settling down as of yet.
However, it wasn’t long before the 65-year-old TV legend denied the rumor that she had counseled the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and issued a brief statement to NBC on Friday:
“Meghan and Harry do not need my help in figuring out what’s best for them. I care about them both and support whatever decisions they make for their family.”
Despite her denial, we’re sure O and the pair will forge an even closer bond in the coming months, especially since the family of three will be spending more time in North America, and we can expect a mental health docuseries they are working on together to release this year.
The publication also revealed that Oprah’s BFF Gayle King, who was an attendee at Meg’s luxe NYC baby shower, is set to have the first sit down with the Sussexes post-Megxit. No word yet on exactly when this is coming, but it seems like we can expect it soon. A TV source divulged:
“It’s hush-hush, but there’s no one else they would turn to.”
