Now THIS is the type of stuff we like to see young people doing!
Youth Empowered to Act (YETA), a group of LGBT leaders between the ages of 14 and 24, protested Chick-fil-A’s anti-gay agenda by picketing a new franchise location in Laguna Hills, California on Thursday, July 26.
Demonstrators donned colorful costumes and signs as they surrounded the building during it’s grand opening to send the conservative corporation and their customers a message — hating gays is not okay.
Sorry to those who think otherwise, but no one should tolerate intolerance! Once an “opinion” starts affecting the lives of other people, it’s no longer respectable. 20-year-old protestor Justin Mccoy agrees and told sources:
“Family, friends and teachers support who I am and they don’t want to support a company that donates millions to groups working to make life harder for me as well as young adults like me. I’d like to thank GLAAD and everyone around the country who is using Chick-fil-A’s anti-LGBT stance to speak out in support of the community.”

And let’s be honest…Chick-fil-A is just another unhealthy fast food chain. There is nothing particularly special about their high-calorie food since EVERY other fast food joint offers a chicken sandwich.
Chic-fil-A is not good for your body and it’s certainly not good for equality.
