The Original Ending For The Muppets Was Much Different!

SPOILERS AHEAD, YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!
If you didn’t see the Muppets this weekend, you’re ridiculous! If you did, you might be wondering about the ending, and how it might have left you feeling a little off.
Well, it makes sense when you realized that they cut and reshot the ending into what it is now… when it was much better in its original form!
Okay, so the ending thee went with had the Muppets trying to raise money to by back the studio and the Muppets name — and failing. Failing big time, but not making nearly enough money. In fact, it had appeared that they were only a dollar off — but due to a glitch, it was actually really far off.
They end up leaving and realizing that people still loved them anyway, sang, and the credits rolled revealing that Gonzo actually saves the day later by dropping a bowling ball on the villain’s head.
Seems off, right?
Well how they originally had it was the same up until Fozzie bear bumps it. They really ARE just a dollar off. This is when Waldorf and Statler chime in from the balcony, doing something they rarely do: interact with the rest of the Muppets. “That wasn’t so bad after all,” they say, and toss down a dollar.
The Muppets win!
Everyone is happy! It even redeems Waldorf and Statler who help the villain out in the beginning!
If U saw the movie, doesn’t that sound better?? It might even make its way onto the DVD!
