Not only did the House Democrats hold a filibuster on gun control on Wednesday (!), but celebrities have finally begun to do their parts for the victims and their families!

While celebs like Nick Jonas and Lady GaGa made sure to speak at candlelight vigils across the country, Melissa Etheridge is doing what she does best to raise awareness — music!
The out singer released a gorgeous song aptly titled Pulse on Thursday, and it could not do a better job of summarizing how we’re feeling right now.
“How can I hate them, when everybody’s got a pulse?”
Speechless.
