Well that’s a shame!
Looks like the ratings for last night’s Oscar show are down about 7% from last year.
Despite best efforts to inject a youthful flair into this year’s show, it doesn’t look like that worked very well.
The set DID look cool, though!
Here’s what they had to say:
“The 83 Annual Academy Awards on ABC were down 7 percent versus last year├óΓé¼Γäós show in metered market household ratings, according the Nielsen data. The telecast posted a 24.6 household ratings from 8:30-11:30 p.m. compared to last year├óΓé¼Γäós 26.5.”
ABC, however, was still first for the night.
Speaking of ABC, it was pretty lame to see the Academy come out and talk about extending their deal last night, right??
That 30 seconds or so could have been given to Billy Crystal, who was one of the funnier parts of the show!
Thoughts?? Did U watch??
