Here comes the queen of the red carpet!
Cate Blanchett was clearly happy to let the nominees get all the attention at the Oscars this Sunday afternoon.
Last year she shimmered like a fairy goddess, but this year she was understated in a black Maison Martin Margiela gown with frayed edges, which she punched up with a multi-string turquoise necklace.
It was just the right touch to spice up the otherwise simple outfit. We also really like her voluminous updo!
Of course Cate the Great could make a plain black dress look so regal!
