Um, can someone call Steve Harvey and see if he had something to do with this?!?!
For the final award of the night, iconic actor Warren Beatty and equally iconic actress Faye Dunaway took the stage at the Oscars and announced La La Land as the winner for Best Picture!
The filmmakers took the stage and started giving their acceptance speeches, except there was one tiny little problem.
LA LA LAND DIDN’T WIN!!
That’s right! Warren was apparently given the wrong envelope and Moonlight was eventually named the REAL Best Picture winner!
You can’t make this stuff up!
After a TON of confusion, Barry Jenkins and company took the stage as the REAL winners of the night!! Honestly, we’re STILL in shock by what happened!
