Pamela Anderson is nothing if not a hopeless romantic.
Which is why the bombshell has found herself in a complicated, forbidden relationship with quite possibly the most interesting man in the world: Julian Assange.
Though the Baywatch babe remains coy about whether or not her “affair” with the WikiLeaks founder is romantic (it totally is), she did give some insights into their intriguing relationship!

The 49-year-old’s *whatever* with the fugitive blossomed when she brought him vegan food at the Ecuadorian Embassy, where he currently remains in hiding from Swedish authorities over a rape accusation. Hm.
Speaking to People, Pam insists that the 45-year-old programmer is just a misunderstood man trying to educate the world — and, like anyone else, “deserves love.” She said:
“Julian is trying to free the world by educating it. It is a romantic struggle ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ I love him for this. I understand that our ├óΓé¼╦£affair’ and the curiosity surrounding that might bring some attention to his situation. That’s fine, but I’d rather not go into private details. Let’s just say everyone deserves love.”
Anderson admits her relationship with Assange is “challenging,” but continues to spend time with him because she likes the enlightening conversations they have together, explaining:
“We talk about the world. He’s a very good teacher. Julian is one of my favorite people. He is a refugee. He might be the most famous, refugee of our time — famous for being persecuted… I’m very concerned about his well-being and safety.”
Sounds like she’s knee-deep in a tragic love story! Which isn’t surprising given the model’s penchant for dramatic romances.

She admitted:
“I’m very moody. I wouldn’t say I’m a happy person. I’m tormented and love sick always. It’s hard to find relief sometimes. I’m trying to not feel lonely. But, I hurt a lot about so many things. I’m a romantic- it makes my stomach hurt.”
Love is torture, Pam!
As for the controversial publisher, the blonde beauty insisted he’s not a villain — but instead a hero, who is also “funny, sensitive, [and] romantic.” She added:
“He’s a good person who cares about the world. He is a kind and deeply empathetic person. He is funny, sensitive, romantic, surprisingly resourceful. He’s a good man.”
Eat your heart out, Tommy Lee!
This is such a bizarre love story — and, weirdly enough, we’re totally rooting for them!
