Parents Television Council Lashes Out Against CBS

Apparently $#*! My Dad Says is an inappropriate title.
We’re not sure exactly why the Parents Television Council has such an issue with dollar signs and exclamation points, but they do, and they are making sure they are heard.
The PTC is boycotting William Shatner’s new TV show, which is based on the Twitter feed of the same name, and they’re contacting 300 advertisers in an effort to dissuade them from advertising on CBS’s new show.
PTC President Tim Winter had this to say on the subject:

“The premise of the show offers potential for good entertainment. The question is why CBS feels the need to shove harsh profanity into the faces of Americans through the program├óΓé¼Γäós title. Their reliance on symbols as a veil is feeble at best. Beyond a port-a-potty, a laxative or a roll of toilet paper, most corporations don├óΓé¼Γäót want their customers to associate their products or services with excrement.”

WTG Winter! All you’re doing is attracting attention to the show. And in all honesty, it seems like CBS doesn’t give a shit $#*! if you have a problem with it.
