Paris Hilton Gives Former Frenemy Lindsay Lohan Parenting Advice!

Paris Hilton has some words of wisdom to share with Lindsay Lohan!

As Perezcious readers know, the Mean Girls alum made the very exciting announcement that she is expecting her first child with her husband Bader Shammas earlier this week. And now her on-again, off-again bestie Paris has some tips and tricks for her after recently welcoming her first child. On Tuesday while at the release party for her new book, Paris: The Memoir, the Hilton Hotels heiress reacted to the baby news, telling Access Hollywood:

“I’m so excited for her.”

Aren’t we all?!

The Simple Life star then opened up about what it’s like to see more of her friends start to have kids, saying:

“I just feel so happy for her and it’s just exciting to see all of my friends growing up and starting families on their own, and my advice is just to soak in every moment. It’s just so precious.”

The socialite welcomed her newborn son Phoenix in January via surrogate with her husband Carter Reum. Since then, she’s been getting tons of advice from other parents out there, which she was thrilled to pass along to the Falling For Christmas lead, adding:

“Everyone is just saying they grow so fast. So just to enjoy the little baby moments when we’re just, like, snuggling and he’s just a little, tiny angel.”

Aw!

As mentioned, Lindsay shocked the internet with an exciting pregnancy reveal on Tuesday. The actress took to Instagram with a photo of a baby onesie with the words “coming soon” written on it, adding in the caption:

“We are blessed and excited! ”

Her rep then told Page Six that “she is feeling great and she is thrilled.” Paris and her mother Kathy Hilton were both very quick to slide into Lindsay’s comment section to wish her a happy and healthy pregnancy, Paris wrote:

“Congratulations love! So happy for you. Welcome to the Mommy Club!”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality chimed in:

“I am so happy for you.”

So sweet!

Of course, this kind of reaction is certainly a sight to behold considering Paris and Lindsay’s complicated past! The duo has known each other for decades now, but things haven’t always been so great. In 2006, their friendship turned into a feud when the Stars Are Blind singer was caught bad-mouthing The Parent Trap alum. In retaliation, the Freaky Friday star clapped back by slamming Paris for her now-infamous sex tape, leading to years of tension for the pair. Things finally seemed to settle last January when Hilton told Andy Cohen she was ready to stop fighting, she shared on Watch What Happens Live:

“I just feel like we’re grown-ups now. I just got married. She just got engaged. We’re not in high school. I think it was just very immature and now everything is all good.”

She also revealed she extended an olive branch to the star after her 2021 engagement news, saying:

“I saw that she got engaged when I was on my honeymoon, so I just said congratulations. No bad blood.”
