Parks And Recreation Actor To Host MTV Movie Awards!! Why????

Him?? Really??

Parks and Recreation star Aziz Ansari is apparently getting a huge break and is set to host the 2010 MTV Movie Awards!!

The funnyman is also co-starring in the upcoming Jonah Hill/Russell Brand film Get Him to the Greek, and is touring his stand-up comedy routine in June, so it looks like 2010 is going to be his year!!

Nominations and categories for the awards ceremony have not yet been announced, but we’re sure it will basically just be lots of Twilight noms all over again!!

We definitely think he’s funny, but we wonder how he’ll fare front and center – up until now, he’s only been a side-kick!!
