The more the merrier!
That’s clearly what Patton Oswalt and daughter Alice were thinking when they included Meredith Salenger in their annual tree trimming celebration. In case you forgot, the comedian wed the Lake Placid actress in November after (what felt like) a whirlwind courtship.

This December marks the first holiday season Patton, Meredith, and Alice are spending as a family. Mrs. Oswalt has clearly taken to her husband and stepdaughter’s traditions as she happily took to Instagram to document her “first ever” Christmas tree lightening. In fact, as Meredith is of Russian Jewish and Austrian Jewish descent, this marks her very first Christmas tree — EVER.
The 47-year-old shared:

In the first pic (above), the trio beamed as they posed in front of their massive tree and donned gold paper crowns from Christmas crackers. Later on, Patton’s eight-year-old broke it down as she danced in front of the newly decorated tree. So sweet.
It’s so wonderful to see how happy the Oswalts are these days, especially after the devastating loss they suffered in 2016. As you surely know, Patton tragically lost his first wife, Michelle McNamara, when she died unexpectedly in her sleep in April 2016.
