Pete Davidson is over the fact that everyone just knows about him because of who he dates!
As Perezcious readers know, the comedian has dated quite a few stars over the years — such as Cazzie David, Kim Kardashian, Ariana Grande, Kate Beckinsale, Kaia Gerber, Margaret Qualley, Chase Sui Wonders, Phoebe Dynevor, Madelyn Cline, and Emily Ratajkowski. In fact, there is a running joke online whenever a female celebrity breaks up with their partner that Pete is going to shoot his shot with her, all because of his romance history! LOLz!

However, the Saturday Night Live alum doesn’t think all this is funny. He hates being known for his love life instead of his work! He’s even concerned now that all anyone will ever see him as “this f**king loser who just dates people!” While talking about the public perception of him in an interview for W magazine on Thursday, Pete said:
“I just want to be known for doing good work. I want to be out there only when it’s movie, stand-up, charity, or business ventures. That’s when I want to be seen. I don’t want to be this f**king loser who just dates people. That’s not who I am.”
Oof. These days, though, the Bodies Bodies Bodies star feels that “people hate celebrities,” adding:
“The media takes a handful of celebs every couple of years, and they just destroy them. For some reason, I’m one of the people they chose to go after. It’s actually, in a way, a blessing, because it allowed me to take a step back and evaluate things. What do you want to be? Who are you? I’m someone who is from Staten Island, wanted to do stand-up, and if I got to do anything else because of stand-up, it was a miracle.”
For a while, his worries were “very loud” in his head. However, the actor is in a better place:
“Luckily, I got hit on the face with the Hollywood shovel. It was a long time coming, and I needed it. I’m very happy where I am right now, mentally.”
