This is what happens when you carry a bunch of cocaine on you!
British rocker Pete Doherty has just been jailed on Friday for six months for that very reason. He’s been having a lot of issues with drugs over the past decade and has collected himself a lot of drug offenses to go with it.
He pleaded guilty last month, and was sentenced today.
The bad news for his fans is that he was on tour and now the rest of it has been cancelled, because you can’t play an awesome show from jail — unless you’re Johnny Cash.
He blames the death of Robyn Whitehead for leaving him a broken man.
Hopefully this little vacation straightens him out! Let’s hope it acts as a form of drug rehab, and he can get back to his music once he’s out again.
Maybe he could even finish the tour for those who are upset about missing him!
