We may have another insight into the tragic fall of Philip Seymour Hoffman.
During their investigation into his death, police reportedly found two personal diaries belonging to the Magnolia star.
The handwritten books detail Philip’s struggle with personal “demons” and include entries alternately about going to drug deals and going to Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
According to sources who have had a chance to look through the diaries, that dichotomy isn’t just in the content; the handwriting itself moves from clear to illegible. One source says:
“It seems he did at least part of it in rehab. It definitely contained some soul-searching. But there is also a fair amount of rambling that doesn├óΓé¼Γäót make sense.”
Another source elaborates:
“It’s stream of consciousness and difficult to follow. In one line he refers to ‘Frank who always owes money’ and on the same page he writes about a 15-year-old girl from Texas.”
We just hope that maybe these newly discovered writings can provide some answers, and maybe Philip’s family and friends will get some closure.
