The Prancing Elites are Alabama’s greatest “all-male, African-American gay dance team” and we were tickled pink to learn they were invited to perform at last weekend’s local Christmas parade.
Woo hoo! We LOVE it when small southern towns unexpectedly embrace the LGBT community!!!
Unfortunately, the parade wasn’t as tolerant as we hoped. Apparently the organizers in Semmes, Alabama didn’t thoroughly investigate the Prancing Elites before commissioning them to perform and didn’t realize they were inviting a group of scantily clad male elves doing super seXXXy dances for Santa!!
That sounds like an AMAZEBALLZ party to us, but parade goers were less amused!

We understand that the citizens of Semmes were surprised by the Prancing Elites, but they could’ve done a much better job embracing them!!! Well, not literally, LOLz!!
