It’s official!
As you may’ve seen, in November, it was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were planning to move in to Kensington Palace together as they had finally gotten engaged. Apparently, the ginger prince asked the Suits actress to marry him by proposing with a ring which features diamonds from one of Princess Diana‘s brooches!

Not to mention, rumors suggested the twosome were eyeing mid-2018 for their nuptials. With all this gossip circulating about, we knew it wouldn’t take long for the love birds to confirm the news. Thankfully, Harry and Meghan have formally announced their betrothal as Clarence House released the following about the engagement:
“His Royal Highness and Ms. Markle became engaged in London earlier this month. Prince Harry has informed Her Majesty The Queen and other close members of his family. Prince Harry has also sought and received the blessing of Ms. Markle’s parents. The couple will live in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace.”
Per Clarence House, the twosome will be wed by spring 2018. As for the royals, it seems they’re REALLY on board with this union. Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip said they were “delighted for the couple and wish them every happiness.” Prince William and Kate Middleton added:
“We are very excited for Harry and Meghan. It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together.”
Meghan’s parents also support the match, as they shared in a statement:
“Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person. To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and are very excited for their future together.”
Awwwww. We honestly couldn’t be happier for these two!!!
