Prince Harry is opening up about the power of “healing”!
On Thursday, the Duke of Sussex got candid about the importance of healing in his Invictus Games, which sees hundreds of wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans compete in various sporting events every few years. The 2025 Games will be held in Vancouver, Canada, and the push to get the most people as possible involved in these “life-changing events” has begun!

In an emotional video speech promoting the upcoming Games, the father of two emphasized the transformative power of “healing” from past traumas, sharing:
“Sport has the ability to heal, to change lives and to save lives. For so many of these competitors, getting to the start line has been one of the hardest moments of their life. But at the Games, their lives are changed. Watching these magical moments happen, and sport being the facilitator of that, is very, very special for all of us to witness.”
So inspiring! You can tell how important this mission is to him, especially as a veteran himself. See it (below):
Harry’s been through so much trauma in his life — it may not be the exact same as these wounded servicemen, but he knows how unexpected setbacks can have a huge impact on your life. Just his teary-eyed expression in the clip shows how personal this is. Aw!
