Prince Harry is getting some royal acknowledgement on his big day!
The Spare author is no longer in his 30s! On Sunday, he joined his wife Meghan Markle in the 40s club, turning the big 4-0. And such a major milestone clearly calls for major acknowledgment, because in a surprise gesture, he received some b-day love from across the pond! Taking to X (Twitter) early on Sunday, the official Royal Family account, which is run by King Charles III’s office, posted alongside a smiling pic of the red head:
“Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!”

Oh wow! This is pretty big news considering the current state of their relationship! And even more surprising, Prince William followed suit!

Considering how estranged these brothers are, this is a big move! Especially since the last time the royal fam acknowledged Harry’s b-day was all the way back in 2021!! Is this a sign that they’re moving toward reconciliation? Well, possibly — because Harry will apparently be receiving even more birthday wishes, too!
The New York Post reported on Sunday that “Harry will hear from his family,” including Princess Catherine, over the phone at some point during his big day. A source dished:
“It’s very likely that Charles and Kate will likely phone Harry to wish him well on his birthday.”
But for William, his social media gesture was reportedly the extent of his birthday wishes “given everything that has gone on,” according to the source.
