Prince Harry will represent his gran-gran, Queen Elizabeth II, for the first time in March and he has a special spot he wants to go.
The younger son of Princess Di will visit Windermere Island, Bahamas, a favorite vacation spot of his late mother.
The pitstop will be a part of his Diamond Jubilee tour as he visits Commonwealth realms in Belize, Jamaica and the Bahamas. Harry’s reported very pleased to be able to pay respect to his mother this way, according to a royal aide, who adds:

Harry wants to make the visit for personal reasons because the place holds sentimental value. Harry was happy with the tour itinerary but this is the only thing he wanted to add himself. It will be a special visit.

Always the gentleman!
Other parts of his tour include a track lesson in Jamaica and coaching a rugby match in Rio.
Sounds fun, but we’re almost certain that his “detour” will be one of the more important stops.
