This is so sweet!
Prince Harry popped up at the WellChild Awards on Monday to show these incredible kids some love, since he’s a patron of the organization.
Well, when the 30-year-old royal went in to high five little 4-year-old Carson Hartley, Harry got a big ole hug from the boy too!
Carson, a nominee at the event, suffers from spina bifida, brittle bones, and a heart defect, but he was all smiles as soon as he saw Harry for their one-on-one time.
During his speech, the Prince had some very inspirational words, saying:
“Your stories are moving beyond words and remind us all of just how fantastic you all are. We can learn a great deal from your strength of character, resolve and humor in facing down challenges every day.”
Even just seeing this photo (above) and knowing the story behind it is moving! We can’t imagine how many more people these brave kids inspire every day!
And Prince Harry is one of them!
