Prince William is sharing the love with Princess Catherine!
To honor his Valentine on Friday, the couple shared an intimate new photo on their Instagram. Taken during the family’s photo/video shoot back in the fall to announce Kate Middleton concluding her cancer treatment, the lovebirds were captured sitting on a blanket in the woods holding hands as William leaned in for a kiss on Kate’s cheek as she smiled.

They let the photo speak for itself and didn’t offer a detailed caption, simply adding a red heart emoji. Take a look:

It’s also a little surprising considering the father of three has been taking almost every opportunity he has lately to gush about his wife — so we’d expect something a little more romantic. But we guess he’s keeping that for just them! We’re sure after all they’ve been through over the last year that days like this — as cheesy as they may be — are more cherished. They have a lot to be grateful for this V-Day!
