What a time to plan a wedding!
Though it may not always seem like it, there are other royals to discuss outside of Prince William, Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle, and Prince Harry, as we can’t forget about Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice!

As readers will recall, Eugenie tied the knot to her longtime love Jack Brooksbank on October 12, 2018 — when Meg reportedly told the family she was pregnant — and the engagement of Beatrice to BF Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi was announced on September 26, 2019.
Unfortunately for the 31-year-old, what should be happy pre-wedding jitters have been shrouded by controversy following her father Prince Andrew‘s suspension of public duties as of November 2019 when information became public regarding his ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Despite his dodgy status as of late, the 59-year-old will be giving away his daughter on her wedding day, per People confirmation. An insider previously shared (below) with the outlet more details about their close bond:
“He plays a very traditional role in her life. She’s his greatest supporter. This is obviously very hard times.”
The source explained:
“Beatrice would never do anything to be hurtful to her father. He’s going to be by her side and she’s going to be by his.”
But don’t expect to get a glimpse of much! A palace confidant shared the couple “is keeping with their wishes for a more low-key [ceremony],” meaning we won’t get a carriage procession or televised look at the nuptials.
While it’s set to be “low-key” by royal standards, we can still imagine it will be a fabulous affair!
On Friday, Buckingham Palace confirmed in a statement the wedding will be held at the Chapel Royal — located within the grounds of St. James’s Palace in London — on Friday, May 29. Following the ceremony, a private reception will be hosted by Bea’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.
Sounds super dreamy!!
We can imagine the pair, who have been together since the fall of 2018, are super excited for their big day. Someone else who is equally as thrilled is younger sister Eugenie, who took Friday’s announcement as an opportunity to share a sweet throwback photo (see the pic HERE) with her big sis when they served as flower girls back in 1993.
As for the caption, she penned:
“She’s so excited…. Today the family announced Beatrice will marry Edo on 29th May 2020. Very proud of this moment. Xx“
We’re excited for the big day, too!!
