While many have likely deserted Prince Andrew in the wake of his alleged involvement with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, someone who has not wavered with their support is Princess Beatrice!

The elder daughter of the disgraced royal and Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson is set to wed this spring and is reportedly carrying on with wedding planning as usual despite the scandal surrounding her father.

An insider revealed to People:

“I definitely think he will walk her down the aisle. He plays a very traditional role in her life. She’s his greatest supporter.”

Despite the fact that “this is obviously very hard times,” according to the source, the family unit (Fergie and Princess Eugenie included) remain steadfast in their support of each other. The confidant spilled:

“They are still traveling together, they are still going ahead like normal. Beatrice would never do anything to be hurtful to her father. He’s going to be by her side and she’s going to be by his.”

Even though the two are close, the Duke of York bowed out of going to his daughter’s engagement bash earlier last week. He likely skipped out on the party, which was thrown by the mother of Beatrice’s fiancé, to avoid interactions with the celebrity pals and friends who were in attendance. A friend close to the future Mr. & Mrs. shared:

“They were really happy to be surrounded by all their friends. They spent the time going around the room making sure they said hello everyone.”

However, the Duke of York did attend Queen Elizabeth‘s annual Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace earlier that afternoon along with both of his daughters. At this point, it’s unclear if we’ll be seeing the 59-year-old during the royal fam’s annual walk to church services on Christmas morning from Sandringham, where he is typically a regular with his daughters.

It will be very inneresting to see how it all plays out since it’s technically not an “official duty,” but more along the lines of a festive family outing. As you’re likely aware, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and baby Archie Harrison will not be in attendance, so all eyes will be on the lookout for Andrew.

Do U think Beatrice and Eugenie should have a bit more distance between them and their dad? Or are they good as is?? We want to know what U think!! Sound OFF (below) in the comments with your thoughts.
