Fun!
According to Kensington Palace via People, 1,600 people will be invited to this year’s festivities. Kate specifically wanted to recognize people who support those in need and who “above all else, shown that love is the greatest gift we can receive.” Sweet! The palace added:
“This theme takes inspiration from the Christmas story, which encourages us to consider the experiences of others and the important human need of giving and receiving empathy.”
That seems timely considering the year she’s had, filled with conspiracy theories (that are ongoing) and a cancer battle. Due to all of this, we’re sure this Xmas special is going to be so emotional!
