NEW Princess Catherine Cancer Conspiracy Theory Gaining Traction! OMG Are We Doing This Again???

Did Princess Catherine ever have cancer??

We know, by now you probably thought we’d heard the last of the Kate Middleton conspiracy theories, but they aren’t over yet! This weekend saw an uptick in theories about the Princess of Wales, specifically as fans debated whether or not the 42-year-old ever really had cancer. This is thanks to a respected royal correspondent!

As we all know, theories about Kate’s health and whereabouts first popped up at the beginning of the year when fans realized she hadn’t been seen since the holidays. She also went in for a January abdominal surgery and made it clear she would be out of the spotlight as she recovered. Things got more suspicious when the royal family dropped a highly-edited family photo and rumored body doubles started surfacing.

Eventually, Kate came clean and revealed she had been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer after doctors initially thought her condition was “noncancerous.” She quickly started “preventative chemotherapy,” which she concluded in September, announcing herself “cancer free.”

But over the weekend, an old report by Sky News correspondent Rhiannon Mills resurfaced that suggested maybe Kate never actually had cancer. The article, which has seemingly since been updated, was posted in September and noted that “pre-cancerous cells had been found” in Kate — opposed to actually finding cancer cells. Per the New York Post, the journalist wrote at the time:

“In March the princess confirmed that pre-cancerous cells had been found following abdominal surgery and that she would have to undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy.”

You can see an apparent screenshot of the original article HERE. As of Monday, it now reads:

“In March the princess confirmed that she was having preventative chemotherapy after cancer was found in tests.”

Precancerous cells are abnormal cells that can develop into cancer — but it doesn’t mean you actually have cancer. A small but significant difference. The term “precancerous” created tons of doubt about Kate’s actual condition, especially since the reporter is a well-respected member of the royal rota (AKA a group of journalists working for British media who frequently cooperate with the palace), per The Daily Beast. Also, Buckingham Palace reportedly didn’t correct the original article at the time of publication, giving the theory even more credibility.

That said, Kate never described her condition as “precancerous” (instead saying after her surgery, tests determined “cancer had been present”), so it’s unclear if the writer just misspoke or if she knew something others didn’t.

Either way, this was a hot topic on X (Twitter) over the weekend, especially after the mother of three made an appearance on Sunday at the Festival of Remembrance. People wrote:

“Royal propaganda machine made the world believe that Kate had cancer. She didn’t. Precancerous cells are world’s away from actually having cancer, yet they thought it appropriate to play the sympathy card when the popularity of the Royal family is at an all-time low. That’s low.”

“Pre-cancerous calls are absolutely not cancer. I’ve had pre-cancerous cells removed from my cervix, I was back at work; the next sodding day.  Kate, doesn’t work, she has milked this beyond all realms of acceptably. Lying about cancer is not ok.”

“I agree. It is manipulative and one of the most horrible things one can do.”

“I know nothing about cancer but I do know that when I had ‘pre cancerous’ cells removed I went home afterwards and never thought about it again. Now I suppose it’s possible that hers might have been somewhere that took a major operation to get to. But why on earth not say that?”

It’s the secrecy of this whole situation that’s really done damage to this family!

Others argued in Kate’s defense, debating:

“I have cancer. Please trust me when you’re in the oncologist’s chair and they have that straight look and stare you in the eye and tell you you have pre cancerous cells or cancer, your world crashes down and you go deaf. You have cancer. Don’t ever tell us what world we live in.”

“pre-cancerous cells can easily evolve into cancerous”

But why would Kate lie about something like this? Well, if you’ll recall, she and her hubby Prince William were in hot water before she announced her diagnosis. His cheating scandal was back in the spotlight and she was outed as one of the rumored racist royals who made comments about the skin color of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s firstborn. A lie like this helped all that go away almost instantly. So, if this is true and that was the motive, it worked.

But it’s inneresting that the original article appears to have been changed now that people are picking up on the wording again. Could that be the palace’s subtle way of trying to shut this theory down? Or is the writer/outlet just trying to distance themselves from this? Hmm. What do you think, Perezcious readers? Are you buying into this new theory? Sound OFF (below)!
