There’s just no competing with The Big Bang Theory!
Last night, Steve Carell lost his final chance for an Office Emmy win when Big Bang’s Jim Parsons took home the Lead Comedy Actor award instead.
As is to be expected, Carell fans/supporters are bummed, but perhaps the most disappointed is Rainn Wilson, who plays Dwight on the The Office.
Here’s what Rainn tweeted about his former co-star’s Emmy snub:
“The world of TV should be ashamed of itself that Steve Carell never won an Emmy for Michael Gary Scott. Goodnight.”
While we agree that Steve was fantastic on the show, we’re not 100% sure that angrily tweeting about his Emmy snub is going to make any kind of positive difference.
Besides, Steve will get more chances for awards! He’s got PLENTY of projects on the horizon, so cheer up Rainn!
