After seeing the awful video of the former Baltimore Raven Ray Rice’s elevator attack on his now wife, we were left with tons of questions.
Mainly: how could someone do that?
According to Rice himself, it was because of the hard liquor he and his wife Janay Palmer were chugging before the elevator altercation.
The only problem is that alcohol doesn’t make you punch women, remember?
Rice has been apparently telling friends how he’s a different person when he drinks and that he’s changing his life.
According to sources, Ray and Janay have become very religious since the incident, actually both getting baptized back in March. They’ve even been doing religious mentoring with other couples, some of whom are other NFL players and their wives.
Well those are all positive steps in the right direction but Rice might need to step up his game a little.
While he doesn’t drink hard liquor anymore, he allegedly still drinks wine so we guess he’s only semi-committed to this never happening again?
Maybe he should just stop drinking all together.
