Okay, okay, we know what you’re going to say…reality TV isn’t real.
But, c’mon, we like to believe there is at least a leeeettle bit of reality in there!
For those of you who are in that boat with us, we have some seriously sad news. When it comes to the Real Housewives of New York City, rumor is it’s totes staged!
The ladiez were apparently filming in Southampton this weekend and were caught doing something awfully naughty.
And NO, wine guzzling and tossing were not involved! An insider who scoped out the scene revealed:
“It was like something you would see on the set of a movie or scripted television show. Carole [Radziwill] and Heather [Thomson] stood on Meeting House Lane and waited for the crew to call ‘rolling,’ before walking toward the camera and sitting on a park bench. They even shot the scene twice … It was extremely contrived and set-up. It lacked all spontaneity and any semblance of reality.”
Just rip our hearts out, why don’t you?!
We can’t even explain to you how devastating this is for us.
Buuuut, it’s not exactly going to stop us from watching it. We mean, contrived or not, it’s still one of the most entertaining shows on TV!
Plus, let’s face it, Ramona “Pinot Grigio” Singer can’t be THAT scripted with her part! There’s no telling her what to do!
