Rebel Wilson doesn’t want you to give up on your fitness goals!
While the temptation to keep snacking and embrace the “quarantine fifteen” looms every day, the Pitch Perfect star hopped on social media to share a motivational message about her own weight loss journey in hopes of inspiring others. If you’re like us and noticed how great the star’s figure looks lately, you might want to listen up!
The 40-year-old actress shared a fierce photo of herself crawling towards the camera while rocking a black bra and matching baby blue tracksuit, telling followers on Monday:
“Even if you have to crawl towards your goals, keep going x it will be worth it. Try and give a little bit of effort each day…I know some days are frustrating as hell, you feel like giving up, you get annoyed at the lack of progress…but good things are coming your way.”
Rebel continued from there, revealing the exact goal weight she set for her ongoing “Year of Health” mission:
“What are your goals this year? I’ll be honest with you guys – with my ‘Year of Health’ mission I’m trying to get to 75kg’s and career wise am trying to get one of my movies into production before the end of the year! Both of these things are requiring a daily effort and there’s constant set backs – but I’m working hard x”
We’ll save our readers the conversion time and tell you 75kgs is about 165 lbs, and we fully believe the comedic actress can do it. We mean, just one look at the before-and-after shot (above) and the sexy new pic she shared (below) can tell you that she’s made such wonderful progress thus far!
The Cats star first got candid about her weight-loss goals on IG back in January and explained how it’s more than just another New Year’s resolution:
“Okay so for me 2020 is going to be called ‘The Year of Health’ – so I put on the athleisure and went out for a walk, deliberately hydrating on the couch right now and trying to avoid the sugar and junk food which is going to be hard after the holidays I’ve just had. But I’m going to do it! Who’s with me in making some positive changes this year?”
And her trainer Jono Castano has since opened up to E! News about their workout regimen, adding the Australian-born entertainer “has been putting in the yards 7 days a week.”
“A typical week will look like this—Day 1: HIIT and mobility, Day 2: weights and resistance, Day 3: HIIT, Day 4: HIIT, Day 5: HIIT and weights, Day 6: rest period, Day 7: HIIT. We focus on plenty of HIIT circuits, but at the same time, focusing on technique and tempo. Results come through consistency.”
