We knew Red Nose Day was a British charity, but we didn’t expect all of the acts to be from across the pond!
No complaints here, though, because in addition to Ed Sheeran‘s uplifting duet with Kermit the Frog, U2 gave an empowering performance of their own.
Bono and Co. sang Song for Someone during NBC‘s fundraiser, and it was the best they’ve sounded live in a while!

Their act was cut with video of struggling children from around the world… and it was just a very moving moment.
