Many handbag designers take their best handbags and send them to A-list celebs who they want to be photographed with their bag for the free publicity.
Well Reese Witherspoon was sent a $4000 Chloe Paraty python bag, even though python is illegal in California.
A spokesperson for PETA said:
“No matter how much Reese paid for that bag, the animals paid a much higher price. Every year, millions of snakes are skinned alive.”
What’s weird is Reese had been named one of the sexiest vegetarians by PETA.
PETA did say they understand that Reese just may not be aware of the illegal status of python or the plight of pythons all over the world.
We forgive you Reese!
