But now, Hollywood is prepared to share its take on the awful 1993 events that occurred in West Memphis, Arkansas.
In the trailer (above) for Devil’s Knot starring Reese Witherspoon and Colin Firth, we see the tragic story of multiple savage murders of young boys—which sparks a controversial trial of three teenagers accused of killing as part of a satanic ritual.
It originally premiered at TIFF in September to mixed reviews, but we think it looks heart-wrenchingly amazing!
No word on a release date for the heavy flick, but it’s rumored to drop in the Spring of 2014.
