Reneé Rapp is throwing shade at one of her old gigs! And it’s not Broadway‘s Mean Girls!
For those who don’t know, the 25-year-old singer played Leighton Murray in The Sex Lives of College Girls, which also starred Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott, and Timothée Chalamet’s sister Pauline. She left the Mindy Kaling comedy series as a series regular in 2023 and only appeared in a few episodes of Season 3, which ended up being the final season.

Reneé has been outspoken about how “terrible” it was to film College Girls. The actress, who identifies as bisexual, said on Call Her Daddy in February:
“It sucked so bad. I was like, ‘I don’t think I’m good enough to be here.’ I was just in panic constantly. I wasn’t [straight], but I was so freaked out by the idea of my sexuality not being finite or people laughing at me—or me laughing at myself—that I hated the first year of filming.”
Now, it looks like she’s dissing the show through her music! On Wednesday, Reneé dropped a new track called Leave Me Alone that featured a dig at the cancellation of the HBO series! She sings during the second verse of the song:
“I took my sex life with me, now the show ain’t f**king. Leave me alone, bitch, I wanna have fun.”
Yikes!
We wonder how her co-stars feel about Reneé rubbing salt in the wound! Watch the music video for the track (below):
