Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is an amateur snake wrangler.
On Tuesday, the Health and Human Services Secretary posted a video of himself on social media picking up two black racer snakes, which aren’t poisonous, trying to mate on Dr. Oz‘s patio in Palm Beach, Florida. In the clip, the 65-year-old television presenter says after Robert manages to grab the slithering creatures:
“Well, they were having sex. So what were they?”
RFK replies that “they’re black snakes,” but his wife, Cheryl Hines, mishears him, thinking he said “black moccasins,” a common name for the venomous and potentially fatal cottonmouth snakes. Naturally, she freaks out because the snakes are repeatedly biting the politician to defend themselves. The actress exclaims:
“Moccasins! Those are dangerous!”
RFK then insists that “they’re not moccasins.” However, his words do nothing to calm Cheryl down. When the snakes continue to bite him, she pleads with him to let them go:
“Oh my God! You’re nuts! Okay, okay, okay, honey, honey, let them go. Bobby, please! Bobby, please! Bobby! Bobby, Bobby, please.”

Regardless of whether they’re not poisonous, what a bizarre thing to do! Do not try this at home! Call a pro if you need help! Jeez! Watch the entire video (below):
