WHOA! RHOC Alum Braunwyn Windham-Burke Accused Of Abusing Autistic Child By Ex Sean!

[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content]

Braunwyn Windham-Burke has been accused of child abuse.

As the Real Housewives of Orange County alum and her ex-husband Sean Burke continue to battle things out in court, a major bombshell accusation has dropped from Sean’s end… In court docs obtained by DailyMail.com recently, Sean cited an incident which reportedly occurred in August of this year. He claimed he contacted the Franklin Police Department to assist in a custody exchange of their 11-year-old son Curren “since it was not his parenting time” and that was something Braunwyn reportedly took issue with in the past. When the FPD arrived they “documented rug burns” on Curren, which the docs claim came from “being dragged by Mother from under the bed.”

Whoa…

Not only that, but the incident was apparently reported to the Department of Child Services for additional investigation. However, a rep for the reality TV star vehemently denies the abuse allegations. In a statement to the outlet, the rep explained:

“After multiple interviews with the children, the allegations against Braunwyn were declared as unfounded. Braunwyn was awarded primary custody after a trial where said details were discussed. The health and safety of her children have always been and will continue to be her first priority. Curren has been living with Sean prior to a court hearing this month on December 17th, and will continue to do so as Curren attends a school suited to special needs. At the same court hearing, Braunwyn was granted continual primary custody of the children where she has her children 26 days of the month, then four with Sean. Curren will live with Sean 26 days of the month, then four with Braunwyn.”

Together, the exes share seven children, including Bella, 24, Rowan, 22, Jacob, 19, twins Caden and Curren, 11, Koa, 10, and Hazel, 6.

You see, Curren has been living primarily with Sean because that environment provides him with the “routine, stability, and patience” he needs to thrive… Because according to the docs he’s been “tested and diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.” But because of the alleged August incident, Braunwyn was ordered to “take a parenting class for dealing with children with behavioral issues,” and “has not seen or spoken” to the child since, according to the legal docs. And a spokesperson for the FPD confirmed the incident to the outlet:

“On August 14, we did respond to a call that involved Braunwyn Burke and a DCS referral was made.”

However, Braunwyn told her side of the story in separate court filings. She confirmed Curren is “on the autism spectrum, but is high functioning.” She also claimed they’ve known about the diagnosis “for months” despite Sean claiming they only found out in October. She also specifically recalled the incident from her point of view, explaining the 11-year-old “ended up hiding under his bed at Mother’s home and would not come out. Mother sent numerous text messages to Father, pleading for his help, which he would not provide. Mother was eventually able to coax [Curren] out from underneath the bed and took him to his adult sister’s home.”

She also claimed the police had “nothing to document,” adding:

“Father’s decision to call the police on Mother was to harass her.”

She further claimed she’s been attempting to see Curren, but that Sean has been ignoring her:

“Father conveniently left out the fact that Mother has contacted Father multiple times asking for contact with the child, which Father has refused. Undersigned counsel sent an email to Father’s counsel on November 12, 2024 asking for Father to facilitate time for Mother with [Curren] Mother’s request was rejected without reason.”

Sean responded by claiming the messages are attempts to “threaten, harass, accuse and berate” him. He also claimed Curren told his own story about the incident and that he used the physical evidence of “burn marks on both of his arms” to believe that the child had been “pulled forcibly from under the bed.”

Yikes… This isn’t even the first time someone from the Burke family has accused Braunwyn of abuse. Back in March, Jacob called her an “abuser, liar, and manipulator,” but didn’t offer specific examples.

What do you make of this latest bombshell news in the Braunwyn VS. Sean case? We just hope above all else their children are safe!
