Richard Simmons Update: He's Doing Fine After LAPD Are Called For Elder Abuse

We’re so happy to hear he’s doing okay!
For months now, people have been worried about Richard Simmons, after he stopped talking to his friends for nearly a year!
Well, the LAPD showed up at his house on Friday night, and two cops asked him some questions because they received a report of elder abuse. The report came from a long-time friend, who sent an email to them.

However, what the police found was much different than what people have been saying!
They reportedly found Richard to be relaxed as he welcomed them into his home, and he was articulate and lucid. He also explained why he’s stayed out of sight for the last year saying, “I just want to spend time with myself.” He is reportedly tired of being in the public eye, but still talks to a few people in his life who truly matter to him.
Simmons was also reportedly walking with a limp, which is in-line with the story that he needs a knee replacement, and he even explained why he hasn’t gone to his exercise studio. He simply said, “I’ve got people who run things. I don’t need to be there.”
The cops found no abuse after an hour of chatting with the exercise fanatic, and he was at his home alone at the time.
Thank goodness we know that he’s doing okay now, since it had been nearly a year since Richard had contacted many of his friends.
