As we already know at this point, Rihanna was out going H.A.M. with the German National Team after their HUGE win in the FIFA World Cup Final yesterday over Argentina!
Well a handful of football fans have been quick to point out that amidst all of the celebrating, RiRi committed a pretty big no-no when she was seen HOLDING the high coveted trophy!
So what are the rules, exactly? Simply put, the ONLY people who are allowed to touch the World Cup trophy are players who have won, along with the head of state and a few select FIFA officials! That means some of the best players in the WORLD aren’t even allowed to touch it!
Seeing as Rihanna is NOT a soccer player, fans were quick to point out her faux pas! However, she wasn’t the only one to bend the rules as children and wives of the players were also seen clutching the trophy after the game!
FIFA has made some exceptions to their rule in the past, and considering the players basically handed RiRi the trophy personally, we’re gonna go out on a limb and say there won’t be any sort of punishment here!
