Cara Delevingne found love — and advice — in a hopeless place!
The model-slash-actress was feeling really down when she found out the Beach Boys movie she was supposed to make got the ax.
She opened up to the Wall Street Journal Magazine about the setback:

“I was heartbroken. With modeling, if someone else gets a job, I’m like, ‘Yeah, of course, there are so many better models.’ But with acting, you grow such an attachment to each role.”

But when she’s feeling sad, did she turn to her bestie, Taylor Swift? Not this time! Instead, the British bombshell leaned on a different pop princess… Rihanna!

She explained that after the Beach Boys flick got scrapped, she phoned the FourFive Seconds singer for some support. RiRi told her:

“Everything happens for a reason. You are going to call me back up in a week or two, and you are going to say to me, ├óΓé¼╦£You are right.'”

And sure enough, Cara got cast in Paper Towns not long after!
On top of that, the calls just keep rolling in for the model. She also received parts in the highly anticipated Suicide Squad movie, as well as Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.
We’re glad Cara has someone to talk to when the going gets tough, since she used to reach out to her grandmother who unfortunately passed away last year.
