Lindsay will be SO jealous!!!!
According to a new report, Rihanna has picked up a Marilyn Monroe portrait (above) from artwork company Gemstone Creative. RiRi purchased the piece for nearly £100,000.
The portrait is said to “constantly” change color, and it “sends rainbows of light round the room.” It was created over a four month period by artist Claire Milner in her Yorkshire studio.
Coolest part? The piece was made with 65,000 Swarovski crystals! Wowsa!
Here’s what the artist had to say about her work:
“I tried to show the glitter of the public life and then the sadness in Marilyn’s eyes.”
“Because of who Rihanna is, everything had to be done through her interior decorators. But they told me afterwards that she loved it.”
It looks absolutely A-MAZING! As far as extravagant purchases are concerned, this has gotta be one of the best ones we’ve seen in a long time!!!
